2015 World Vision 30 Hour Famine

Support Our Group as We Go Without Food For 30 Hours!

We don't think it's right that nearly 9,500 kids are dying every day because of hunger — so we're doing something about it. We're RELEASING THE FEAST for children in need through World Vision's 30 Hour Famine!

Every year, World Vision at NYU hosts a 30 Hour Famine at our school. Together WV@NYU has raised over $6,500 over the past two years to help World Vision support children and their communities around the world. This year, our event will take place from February 20th to 21st. During these 30 hours, we will be coming together as a group in doing community service, experiencing the lives of the hungry through simulations and ‘Tribe’ games, and learning and discussing the hunger information through documentaries and stories, all leading to the concert finale featuring local talent and the “Break the Fast” dinner. It will be an awesome experience, so please SAVE THE DATE AND COME JOIN US :)

Our team goal this year is to raise at least $3,500 — enough to feed and care for 8 children for a year. We are asking every participant to raise at least $35 — enough to feed and care for one child for a month.

Start your fundraising page, or make a donation to our team page. Your gift is tax-deductible.
