NYU Circle K is excited to announce that for the first time ever, we will be sponsoring an event for the St. Baldricks Foundation at New York University this year!
We are looking for dedicated individuals from the NYU community to be appointed and work alongside our event committee, as chairs of the event. Chairs will attend committee meetings (most likely 2 or 3 times a month) to help plan, promote, and execute NYU's Battle of the Bald event which will be held on December 4th. The open chair positions are listed below and the application is now open to anyone in the NYU community. If you are interested in holding one of these roles, please click apply.
- Lead Treasurer – Position has been filled.
Second Treasurer – Position has been filled.
Shavee Recruiter – This role will hit the streets and talk to anyone and everyone they know and meet to share how they can become involved in the quest to Conquer Childhood Cancers. This person should have ‘cheerleader’ qualities that can not only get shavees excited about participating but keep them motivated about their fundraising. They will work to coordinate the check-in process and shavee schedule for the day of the event.
Barber Coordinator – This person will help you recruit barbers to do the shaving. They’ll ensure that the volunteer barbers are licensed, registered and have all the tools they need for the day of the event.
